Awesome lightweight carbon intake system from Eventuri brand — world known manufacturer of performance intake systems. Not only crazy outside appearance and highest quality carbon, but patented technology of high-flow air filters and air flow distribution. Bolt-on installation, cooler air at intake and improved performance as a result. Gorgeous exterior appearance is second to none. What else do you need for your AMG GT ?
The AMG GT Eventuri intake is a fully sealed system which was developed through extensive real world testing and airflow simulation analysis. It features our patented Venturi housings which allow for the smoothest possible airflow to the turbo inlets. The housings encase our bespoke filters which help to shape the airflow and maintain laminar conditions. They have also been maximised in internal volume to reduce restrictions and in doing so we have also redesigned the OEM central cover as it fouls on the significantly larger system. Finally, intake air temperatures are kept steady with the ducts which seal to the filter housings. Each system comes complete with the carbon central cover.
The AMG GT Eventuri system uses patented carbon fibre housings gen 2 bespoke filters, which provide an aerodynamically efficient airflow path from the filter to the turbos. Not just another cone filter with a heat shield but a unique design which invokes the Venturi affect and maintains laminar flow conditions to reduce the drag on the turbo.
Eventuri AMG GT intake is available in 2 versions:
- Mercedes C190/R190 AMG GTR, GTS, GT — GLOSS Finish
- Mercedes C190/R190 AMG GTR, GTS, GT — MATTE Finish
The AMG GT filter housings comprise of a bespoke high flow filters, aluminium cowls, laser cut brackets and the carbon pods themselves. The carbon pod shrouds the reverse mounted filter and smoothly shapes the airflow down to the turbo. This smooth reduction in cross sectional area invokes the Venturi effect where internal pressure reduces whilst maintaining laminar conditions. The housings replace the OEM airboxes and flexible inlet tubes and provide a more direct flow path through a one-piece construction.
The internal volume of the filter housings have been maximised in order to de-restrict the flow path to the turbos. In doing so, the OEM center cover also needed to be modified to prevent it from fouling with the housings. We therefore designed a new cover which allows fitment of the larger filter housings and also provide a finished look to the engine bay. The new cover is made in carbon and features a V shape carbon weave pattern to provide symmetry to the intake as a whole. Eventuri also included a recess in the cover to allow fitment of the engine build plaque from the OEM cover.
The carbon ducts channel ambient air from the front grill to the filter housings. They connect to the OEM ducting system and smoothly transition to the circular filter housing shape. In order to ensure a good seal against engine bay heat - they also have a flexible rubber edging around the openings which press against the filter housings creating the desired seal yet allowing the housings to move with the engine. The duct volume has been maximised to take full advantage of the space available. The underside of the ducts show the lengths we have gone to ensure perfect fitment while allowing for clearance with objects in the engine bay area.
- Incredible outlook and appearance under hood
- Higher flow rate over the stock system
- Highest quality pure carbon fiber and air-filters material
- Bolt-on installation
- Faster acceleration time and power gain even without remap (just think how fast it will after appropriate software tune)
- Aerodynamically more efficient airflow path from the filter to the MAF tube
- Custom housings provide a smooth transition from the filter to the intake tube keeping airflow laminar
- Patented filter flow technology
- CNC machined parts
