Tailpipe set for the Ferrari F430. The tips are the visible end of the exhaust, and on the F430 they sit in the centre of the rear valance where they are impossible to overlook.

What it is

A set of tailpipes made to the Capristo standard: stainless steel, hand finished and polished, cut to the dimensions of the factory outlet so they sit in the original position.

What it changes

A purely visual part. Flow, catalysts and valve control are untouched, so the set can be fitted to a standard car as well as to one already running a Capristo system.

Material and build

T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, hand TIG welded and polished to a mirror finish in Sundern, Germany. The alloy is specified for exhaust temperatures above 600 °C, which is why the finish survives in the hot centre of the rear.

Before you order

• The tips are made for the F430 outlet; the 430 Scuderia uses a different rear layout;
• Fitting uses the factory position, no bodywork modification;
• Worth combining with the Capristo rear silencer so the whole visible section matches.
