Sport catalysts for the Porsche Cayenne Turbo 536 of the current generation with the 4.0 TFSI EA825 engine. They replace the standard catalyst section, which is the point where most of the back pressure of a hot-vee twin-turbo V8 is created.

What changes

The free-flow substrate lets the turbochargers spool with less resistance behind them, and the V8 gets back part of the tone the stock catalysts and filters take away. The effect is strongest together with the Capristo exhaust system for the same car.

Material and build

T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, hand TIG welded and polished in Sundern, Germany. The parts are developed on 3D scans of the original pipework and bolt to the standard mounting points without cutting.

Before you order

• ECU programming may be required after the catalyst change so the check engine light stays off;
• Capristo supplies the parts for off-road and track use;
• They combine with the Capristo exhaust system and tailpipes for the Cayenne Turbo;
• Installation is reversible, nothing on the car is modified.
