Set of exhaust manifolds with 250 cell sport catalysts for the Porsche 911 GT3 and GT3 RS 991.2 with the 4.0 litre naturally aspirated flat-six. The manifold is the first part the gas meets, and on this engine it is where the restriction starts.

What changes

The runners use a different routing and a larger cross section than the standard parts, and the catalyst section comes in the same assembly, so the two biggest limits in the hot end are removed together. On a 9000 rpm engine that is felt from mid revs upward rather than only at peak.

Material and build

T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, rated for continuous temperatures above 600 C, hand TIG welded in Sundern, Germany. Capristo uses highly coated substrates, so the catalyst keeps working rather than being a decorative shell.

Before you order

• The set is offered for cars without a particulate filter;
• ECU programming is required;
• A version with a carbon underbody engine cover is available separately;
• Installation uses the original flanges and is reversible.
