Catalyst section for the Ferrari F355. Capristo offers three configurations, from a high-flow sport catalyst to a full cat delete for track use.

Three versions

• 250 cell sport cats (02FE03003011);
• 250 cell sport cats in the second configuration (02FE03003012);
• Cat replacement pipes without catalysts (02FE03003004).

The two catted versions differ in layout rather than cell count, so check which one matches your car before ordering.

Why this section matters on an F355

The original catalyst assembly is heavy and sits in the hottest part of the system, directly behind the manifolds. Replacing it reduces both weight and heat soak in the engine bay, which on this model is directly connected to the known problem of cracked headers.

Material and build

T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, hand TIG welded and polished in Sundern, Germany, built for the original flanges and mounting points.

Before you order

• Cat replacement pipes are for track use; running without converters is restricted on public roads in most markets;
• The section is designed to work with the Capristo F355 exhaust system;
• Replace the flange gaskets during installation on a car of this age.
