Sport cats for the Ferrari Enzo. The section replaces the factory catalysts of the 6.0 V12 with metal-core sport cats of lower cell density, which is where most of the restriction in the standard system sits.

Two versions

• 250 cell sport cats, standard length (02FE04503004);
• 250 cell sport cats, long version (02FE04503005).

The long version is built for cars whose exhaust routing needs the extra length; the right one depends on what is fitted behind the cats, so check before ordering.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, mandrel-bent and manually TIG welded in Sundern, Germany. The alloy holds up to exhaust temperatures above 600 °C and keeps the weight down in the hottest part of the car.

What it changes

• Lower back pressure right behind the manifolds, the first real bottleneck of the stock exhaust;
• A harder, more direct V12 note, most obvious with the Capristo valved rear silencer;
• Less weight than the OEM catalyst section.

Before you order

• A metal sport cat core keeps the lambda sensors in operation, but an emulator may still be needed depending on the market and the engine software;
• Bolt-on fit into the OEM flanges and mounting points.
