Why this section

On the 458 the converters sit directly after the headers, in the hottest part of the system. Opening this section changes throttle response as well as sound, and the weight saving over the original assembly is noticeable on a car this sensitive to mass.

Material and build

T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, hand TIG welded and polished in Sundern, Germany, built for the original flanges and mounting points.

Before you order

• Cat replacement pipes are intended for track use; road use without converters is restricted in most markets;
• Expect a check engine light after a full cat delete;
• Combines with the Capristo exhaust system and the 4-2-1 headers for the 458.
