Sport catalysts for the Audi S8 D4 with the 4.0 TFSI EA824 biturbo V8. They replace the standard catalysts, the point where most of the back pressure of a hot-vee engine is created.

Two versions

• 100 cell sport cats (02AU09403004);
• 250 cell sport cats (02AU09403013).

The 100 cell substrate flows more and sounds harder; the 250 cell version is the quieter, more road-minded choice of the two.

Material and build

T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, rated above 600 C, hand TIG welded in Sundern, Germany. Capristo packages its sport cats in wide housings so the substrate is not squeezed into a narrow can.

Both versions keep a working catalyst in the system, which is what separates them from cat delete pipes.

Before you order

• ECU programming is required on the 100 cell version and may be required on the 250 cell one;
• The parts fit cars from 2012 to 2016 including the S8 Plus;
• They combine with the Capristo rear silencer and the delete pipes;
• Installation uses the original flanges and is reversible.
