Sport cats for the Alfa Romeo 4C. The section replaces the factory catalyst of the 1.75 turbo four, which on a small-displacement turbo engine is where both flow and sound are lost first.

Three versions

• 100 cell sport cats (02AR04003003) - the freest flowing, loudest option;
• 200 cell sport cats (02AR04003004) - the middle ground;
• 250 cell sport cats (02AR04003007) - closest to standard behaviour.

A lower cell count means larger channels and less restriction; a higher count keeps the car closer to how it left the factory.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, mandrel-bent and hand TIG welded in Sundern, Germany, then polished. The alloy is rated for exhaust temperatures above 600 °C.

Before you order

• Changing the catalyst can set a check engine light depending on market and software;
• The gain is largest in combination with the Capristo exhaust system for the 4C;
• All three versions keep a catalyst in the system, unlike a straight race pipe;
• Bolt-on fit to the OEM flanges.
