Rear diffuser Capristo Alfa Romeo 4C

07AR04010002

Carbon rear diffuser for the Alfa Romeo 4C. Capristo lists it as a replacement part: the diffuser is normally supplied together with the 4C exhaust package, and this position covers the case where only the diffuser is needed.

What it is

The undertray diffuser that sits below the centre-exit exhaust. On the 4C this is the largest visible surface at the rear, and in carbon it saves weight on a car that weighs around a tonne.

How the carbon is made

Capristo produces its carbon in house in Sundern, Germany, laying the fabric by hand and curing the parts in an autoclave or press, in the same weave used across its carbon range.

Why carbon here

The diffuser sits in the airflow under the car and close to the exhaust outlet, so it has to tolerate both heat and road debris. Carbon does not corrode and keeps its shape through heat cycling, unlike a painted plastic panel in the same position.

Before you order

• Order this position only if you already have the Capristo exhaust package or need to replace a damaged diffuser;
• Mounting hardware is included and the factory fixing points are used;
• The carbon cover frame around the pipes is a separate replacement position;
• No modification of the body is required.

Capristo Automotive GmbH has built exhaust systems and carbon parts since 1990.
