OPF/GPF replacement pipes for the Audi RS5 F5 with the 2.9 TFSI EA839. The particulate filter is the largest restriction left in the standard system on cars built with it, and these pipes take its place.

What changes

Removing the filter drops back pressure in the section the turbochargers breathe through, so both throttle response and the volume of the V6 change. The effect is strongest together with the Capristo rear silencer or the full system.

Material and build

T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, hand TIG welded in Sundern, Germany. The pipes are developed on 3D laser scans of the original part, keep the standard diameter and bolt to the factory flanges without cutting.

Before you order

• ECU programming is normally required so the filter monitoring does not set a fault;
• Running without a particulate filter is restricted on public roads in many markets, Capristo supplies the pipes for track use;
• They combine with the Capristo rear silencer and exhaust system;
• Installation is reversible, the standard filter can be refitted.
