OPF/GPF replacement pipes for the Aston Martin Vantage V8 built from late 2017. They replace the particulate filter section of the 4.0 twin-turbo V8, which on the later cars is the single largest restriction left in the standard exhaust.

What it changes

• The filter is removed from the gas path, so back pressure drops sharply and the engine breathes more freely;
• The sound gains depth and volume, since the filter also works as a silencer;
• Weight comes off, as the original filter assembly is heavy.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, hand polished, built to the dimensions of the original section so that the pipes bolt into the OEM mounting points in Sundern, Germany.

Before you order

• Running without a particulate filter is restricted on public roads in many markets, and the car is intended for track use in this configuration;
• Expect a check engine light; ECU tuning or a suitable emulator is required;
• Combines with the Capristo downpipes and the valved rear section for the same car;
• Check whether your car is an OPF model before ordering, since not every market received the filter.
