Replacement pipes for the secondary catalysts of the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. They take the place of the second cats in the OEM system and widen the bore at that point, which is where the stock exhaust of the 6.0 V12 loses most of its flow.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, mandrel-bent and hand TIG welded in Sundern, Germany. The alloy is rated for exhaust temperatures above 600 °C and was chosen for its acoustics and low weight.

What it changes

• Together with the Capristo valved silencers Capristo measured up to +34 hp on the dyno;
• A harder, more open V12 note, most of all above 4000 rpm, where the rear silencers alone get quieter;
• Less weight than the factory cat section.

Before you order

• These pipes remove the secondary catalysts, so the car is intended for track use; road use is restricted in most markets;
• Deleting the cats sets a fault in the OBD system - the Capristo OBD Wizard or an equivalent simulator is needed to keep the light off;
• Designed for the 599 GTB Fiorano, not for the GTO or SA Aperta;
• Bolt-on fit into the OEM mounting points and hangers.
