Mid pipes for the Bentley Continental Supersports and GTC W12 from 2011. The section replaces the middle silencer of the factory system, the part that absorbs most of the W12 sound before it ever reaches the rear.

What it changes

• The twelve cylinder becomes audible across the rev range instead of only under hard acceleration;
• Back pressure drops in the middle of the system, which sharpens response on a car of this mass;
• The original middle silencer is heavy, so the swap also saves weight.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, built to the geometry of the original section and hand finished in Sundern, Germany, so it bolts to the factory mounting points.

Before you order

• The pipes are designed around the Capristo valved rear section; with the standard rear silencer the effect is smaller;
• There is no valve here, so the sound level rises permanently - worth considering on a convertible;
• The catalysts stay in place, so emissions equipment is untouched;
• Confirm the part number by body and model year, as the W12 range shares several sections.
