Secondary cat delete pipes for the second generation Aston Martin Vanquish with the 6.0 V12. They replace the heavy secondary catalyst section of the standard exhaust with lightweight pipes of the same geometry.

What it changes

• The second catalysts are both a restriction and a silencer, so removing them opens up the flow and lets the V12 be heard in its own voice;
• Weight comes off the middle of the car;
• Throttle response sharpens, because the gas path after the primary catalysts is no longer narrowed.

Build details

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, built as a direct replacement for the factory parts and fitted with vibration-dampening flex sections - these protect the exhaust components on a car whose V12 transmits noticeable vibration into the system.

Before you order

• The pipes are for off-road and track use; running without the secondary catalysts is restricted on public roads in most markets;
• A check engine light should be expected unless the ECU is tuned accordingly;
• The part is for the V12 car and does not fit the V8 models;
• Installs into the OEM mounting points.
