Link pipes for the Ferrari GTC4Lusso T with the 3.9 twin-turbo V8. The centre section replaces the standard pipes between the turbo downpipes and the rear silencers, the part of the system where the factory layout keeps the most pressure.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel of the highest grade, mandrel-bent and manually TIG welded in Sundern, Germany, polished after welding. The alloy is specified for exhaust temperatures above 600 °C, which is routine territory right behind a pair of turbochargers.

What it changes

• Lower back pressure behind the turbos, so the engine builds boost with less resistance in the way;
• A louder and more direct V8 note, including with the rear flaps closed;
• Less weight than the factory centre section.

Good to know

• Dedicated part for the V8 Lusso T - the V12 Lusso and FF use a different centre section;
• Designed for the Capristo valved rear silencers, but it also fits the OEM mufflers;
• The factory catalysts stay in place;
• Bolt-on into the OEM mounting points, no cutting or welding on the car.
