Middle silencer delete pipes for the Audi S4 and S5 of the B8 series, for both the 3.0 TFSI EA837 V6 and the 4.2 FSI V8. The lightweight pipes take the place of the heavy standard middle silencer.

What changes

The middle silencer is the quietest-making part of a B8 exhaust and the one owners usually leave untouched. Removing it opens the system along its middle length and drops weight at the same time, so the rear section finally works with gas that has not already been smoothed out.

Material and build

T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, rated above 600 C, hand TIG welded in Sundern, Germany, developed on 3D laser scans of the original part and fitted to the factory mounting points.

The pipes are a common first step on a B8: they cost less than a full system and already change how the car sounds under load.
