Carbon front spoiler for the Ferrari 488 GTB and Spider, supplied with the middle section and offered in gloss or matt lacquer.

What it is

The spoiler replaces the lower lip of the front bumper together with its central part, so the whole bottom edge of the front end becomes carbon rather than only the side pieces. That is what makes the difference visible from the front rather than only from the side.

How the carbon is made

Layers of prepreg are hand-laid into Capristo's own moulds, cured in an autoclave or press and lacquered by hand. The weave is the same type the car manufacturer uses, so the parts match factory carbon already on the car.

Good to know

• Two part numbers: LG for gloss, LM for matt;
• Mounting hardware is included and the spoiler uses the factory fixing points;
• The part is cut for the 488 GTB and Spider front bumper; the Pista has its own spoiler in four- and six-piece versions;
• Ground clearance changes only marginally, but the lower edge is still the first thing to meet a kerb - worth knowing before a car that is used daily.
