Rear silencer with flaps for the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS. It replaces the factory rear silencer of the 4.0 flat-six and is supplied with the CES-3 control unit.

Measured sound

Capristo publishes its own measurements for this car: the standard system with the flap open is about 110.9 dBA, and the rear silencer combined with 250 cell sport catalysts as OPF replacement reaches about 114.9 dBA.

Tailpipes

Colour anodised straight tailpipes in black, red, silver or gold, with an aluminium outer sleeve in wicrom black. The finish is chosen at order.

Valve control

The CES-3 is programmable and works from exhaust back pressure, so the opening point is set by you rather than by the factory map.

Material and build

Heat-resistant 1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, welded entirely by hand in a TIG process and polished to a high gloss in Sundern, Germany, with a final quality check.

Before you order

• The complete system with sport cats and manifold is a separate position and goes considerably further;
• Choose the tailpipe colour at order;
• Installation uses the original mounting points.
