Capristo rear silencer with exhaust flaps for the Range Rover Sport SV (P635). A direct replacement for the factory rear muffler on the 4.4 V8 biturbo: with the flaps closed the car stays as quiet as standard, with them open you get the full V8 note.

Material and build

Heat-resistant 1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, hand TIG-welded and polished to a mirror finish in Sundern, Germany. The alloy is rated for exhaust temperatures above 600 °C and was chosen for its acoustic properties and low weight. Every system goes through final quality control.

Sound and valve control

The flaps are driven by the OE actuators and follow the factory drive modes - closed at idle and at cruise, open under load. The CES-3 control unit (optional) opens and closes the valves independently of the selected mode.
