Full exhaust system for the Ferrari F50: equal-length headers, cat replacement pipes and an X-pipe rear silencer with valves, supplied with the remote kit. It replaces the standard exhaust of the 4.7 V12 from the heads back.

Headers

A 6-3-1 layout with pipe lengths ordered to the firing sequence, Y-collectors and routing that differs substantially from the factory manifolds. This is where most of the gain comes from on an engine that dislikes back pressure above 4500 rpm.

Centre and rear section

Cat replacement pipes and an X-pipe silencer with valves; the exhaust and X-pipe channel is 60.3 mm. With the valves open the gases take a direct, unsilenced path. Tailpipes are 90 mm.

Material and heat management

High-grade 1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, hand polished to a mirror finish in Sundern, Germany. Headers and X-pipe come with Capristo heat shields: less radiant heat in the engine bay, cooler intake air and less fire risk from fluids reaching hot pipes. The whole system is substantially lighter than standard.

Before you order

• Recommended for off-road and track use;
• The F50 has no post-cat lambda sensors, so no check engine light appears after the cat delete;
• Installs into the OEM mounting points.
