Rear silencer Capristo Ferrari F430

Valved rear silencer for the Ferrari F430. It replaces the factory rear muffler of the 4.3 V8 and is offered with or without the Capristo control unit.

Two versions

• With the CES-3 controller (02FE02303001);
• Standard version without the controller (02FE02303008).

The CES-3 is programmable and works from exhaust back pressure, with separate settings for the quiet and sport modes. The standard version uses the factory flap signal.

What it changes

The F430 is damped mainly at the rear, so the silencer is where the character of the car is decided. Closed, the V8 keeps its everyday manners; open, the engine is heard across the range, and on a flat-plane V8 that difference is substantial.

Material and build

T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, hand TIG welded and polished in Sundern, Germany.

Before you order

• Capristo also lists a complete exhaust system and headers for the F430, which go further than the rear silencer alone;
• Sport cats and cat replacement pipes are separate positions;
• Installation uses the original mounting points.
