Valved rear silencer for the Ferrari Enzo. The Twin Sound section replaces the factory rear muffler of the 6.0 V12 and is one of the few exhaust upgrades developed specifically for this car rather than adapted from another model.

Power and sound

Capristo states a dyno-proven gain of 11 hp from the freer flow. With the flaps closed the Enzo keeps a deep, controlled tone; with them open the V12 is heard without the factory damping.

Valve control

The original vacuum lines plug straight into the Capristo actuators, so the standard logic is retained. The Twin Sound control unit reads exhaust back pressure and is programmable: you set separately when the flaps open in cruise mode and in sport mode. Hard acceleration is recognised by the pressure signal and opens the flaps immediately, gentle acceleration opens them later.

Material and build

Highest grade 1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, manually TIG welded and hand polished to a mirror finish in Sundern, Germany. The valves are made by Capristo itself, with a patented reinforced design that suppresses resonance.
