Valved rear silencer for the Chevrolet Corvette C7 and C7 Z06. Capristo offers five configurations, so the car can be taken from a mild change in tone to a full catless setup.

Five versions

• Post-cat pipes with stainless steel tailpipes and the CES-3 controller (02CH09003005);
• Post-cat pipes with carbon tailpipes and the CES-3 controller (02CH09003009);
• Catless with post-cat pipes and carbon tailpipes (02CH09003008);
• Catless with post-cat pipes and stainless steel tailpipes (02CH09003001);
• Catless with post-cat pipes (02CH09003004).

What decides the choice

Two things: whether the catalysts stay in the car, and which tailpipes you want. The CES-3 versions add programmable flap control, which matters on a car used on the road as well as on track.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, hand TIG welded and polished in Sundern, Germany.

Before you order

• Catless versions are for track use and will normally set a check engine light;
• The LT1 and LT4 engines share this position, so confirm the configuration rather than the engine;
• Bolt-on into the OEM mounting points.
