Valved exhaust system for the Bentley Continental GT Speed W12. The kit is not a tip swap: it consists of the left and right mufflers together with the mid-pipes, so the whole rear half of the system is replaced.

How the valves are controlled

The system is back-pressure monitored. The programmable control unit lets you set the pressure at which the flaps open or close, and it carries a built-in limit so the pressure never reaches a dangerous level. The OEM vacuum lines plug straight into the Capristo valves, and with the factory control option the system simply follows the Bentley Sport Exhaust function.

What it changes

Closed, the W12 keeps the quiet the car is built around; open, a 6.0 twin-turbo twelve cylinder is finally audible. Because the pressure is controlled rather than removed, the engine keeps its torque delivery across the range.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, hand polished to a mirror finish in Sundern, Germany, engineered with 3D laser scanning, CAD and CNC bending.
