Valved rear silencer for the Audi R8 V10 and V10 Performance of the 4SPA facelift series. This is the last generation of the naturally aspirated 5.2 FSI, and on cars with the particulate filter the standard rear section damps it hardest.

Two versions

• With OPF/GPF delete and the EVCU-1 control unit (02AU00803039);
• Catless with OPF/GPF delete and the EVCU-1 control unit (02AU00803040).

Both come with the EVCU-1 unit, which drives the valves independently of the car's own flap control.

This version is built for the US market cars, which leave the factory with a different rear exhaust section.

How it works

The valves stay closed at light load, so cruising noise is close to standard. Opened, the gas path shortens and bypasses the damping chambers.

Material and build

T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, hand TIG welded and polished in Sundern, Germany, developed on 3D laser scans of the original pipework.

Before you order

• ECU programming may be required on the OPF/GPF delete version;
• Running without a particulate filter is restricted on public roads in many markets;
• Tailpipes and sport cats are ordered separately;
• Installation is reversible.
