Rear silencer Capristo Aston Martin Vantage V8 / V12 (2005-2007)

Valved rear silencer for the Aston Martin Vantage of 2005-2007, both the 4.3 V8 and the 6.0 V12. It replaces the factory rear silencer, which on these cars is the part that holds back most of the sound.

What it changes

The flaps give the car two characters: closed, the Vantage keeps a deep but restrained tone suited to town use; open, the engine is heard without the factory damping. Because the section sits behind the catalysts, emissions equipment and diagnostics are untouched.

Material and build

Heat-resistant 1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, welded entirely by hand in a TIG process and polished to a high gloss in Sundern, Germany, with a final quality check on every system.

Before you order

• This part number covers the early Vantage of 2005-2007; the later V8 and V12 cars have their own silencers, so order by year as well as by model;
• Cat bypass pipes and 100 cell sport cats are listed separately for the same cars;
• On cars without factory flap control the programmable Capristo controller is needed;
• Bolt-on into the OEM mounting points.
