Valved exhaust system for the Aston Martin Vantage and Vantage AMR built from late 2017 with the 4.0 twin-turbo V8. Turbochargers absorb a large part of the exhaust note, which is why this car responds so clearly to a change of the rear section.

How it behaves

At low engine speeds and while cruising the flaps are closed and the tone stays deep but restrained. At wide-open throttle they open and the V8 is heard without the factory damping.

Options worth deciding at order

• The CES-3 control module, if you want to set when the flaps open rather than follow the factory logic;
• Carbon tailpipes, including the black version, instead of the standard tips.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, hand polished to a mirror finish, engineered with 3D laser scanning, CAD and CNC bending at the Capristo factory in Sundern, Germany.

Before you order

• The system covers the Vantage and the AMR of 2018-2022, including the F1 Edition;
• Cat delete and sport cat downpipes for the same car are separate positions and are where the largest flow gain sits;
• Bolt-on into the OEM mounting points.
