Valved rear silencer for the Aston Martin Vantage V12 from 2022. The 5.2 twin-turbo V12 is the rarest engine in the Vantage range, and this section is built specifically for it rather than shared with the V8 cars.

What it changes

The rear silencer is where the factory holds the V12 back. With the flaps closed the car keeps the composure expected of a road-going Aston; with them open the twelve cylinder is heard across the range, and the difference on a V12 is more about texture than volume.

Material and build

Heat-resistant 1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, hand TIG welded and polished to a mirror finish in Sundern, Germany, with a final quality check on each system.

Before you order

• The part is for the V12 Vantage only; the V8 cars use different rear sections;
• Catted and catless downpipes are listed separately for the same car and carry the larger flow gain;
• Confirm the part number by chassis, since Capristo numbers overlap across the Vantage range;
• Bolt-on into the OEM mounting points with the factory actuators.
