Exhaust system for the Nissan Z RZ34. The 3.0 twin-turbo V6 leaves the factory heavily damped, and this system replaces the section where most of that damping sits.

What it changes

Turbochargers absorb a large part of the exhaust note before it reaches the rear, so the standard Z sounds quieter than its output suggests. The Capristo system opens up the flow after the turbos and gives the V6 the voice the engine has but the factory exhaust keeps in.

Material and build

Heat-resistant 1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, welded by hand in a TIG process and polished to a high gloss in Sundern, Germany, with a final quality check on every system. The alloy is rated for exhaust temperatures above 600 °C.

Before you order

• Check which valve control your car uses, as that decides whether a controller is needed;
• The system installs into the OEM mounting points without modification to the body;
• Emissions equipment ahead of the system is not touched, so diagnostics remain as standard;
• Delivery is made to order, as with all Capristo systems.
