Exhaust system for the McLaren 720S. Capristo sells it as a set: the rear muffler with flaps, the downpipes and the EVCU-1 controller, so the whole chain from the turbochargers back is matched in one package.

Two versions

• Set with 250 cell downpipes (02ML11003020);
• Set with 100 cell downpipes (02ML11003010).

The cell count sets the character. 100 cells flow more and sound harder, 250 cells stay closer to standard behaviour. Both keep a catalyst in the system.

Valve control

The EVCU-1 is freely programmable and monitors dynamic pressure, so the opening point of the flaps is set by you rather than by a fixed map.

Material and build

Heat-resistant 1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, welded by hand in a TIG process and polished to a high gloss in Sundern, Germany.

Before you order

• Capristo lists both sets for racing purposes only;
• Replacing the converters can trigger a check engine light, which only an ECU modification removes;
• Tailpipe sets in anodized or gold finishes are separate accessory positions.
