Complete exhaust system for the McLaren 675 LT. Capristo supplies it as one package: the rear silencer with flaps, catless downpipes, the EVCU-1 controller, carbon tailpipes and heat protection.

Why it is sold as a set

On a mid-engined twin-turbo V8 the catalyst section and the rear silencer work together. Replacing only one of them changes less than owners expect, so Capristo puts the whole chain in a single position, with the controller and tips already matched to it.

Valve control

The EVCU-1 is freely programmable and monitors dynamic pressure, so you define the point at which the flaps open rather than following a fixed factory map.

Material and build

Heat-resistant 1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, welded entirely by hand in a TIG process and polished to a high gloss in Sundern, Germany, with a final quality check.

Before you order

• Capristo lists the system for racing purposes only, as the downpipes are catless;
• Expect a check engine light; the ECU has to be adapted to switch it off;
• Heat protection is part of the kit, which matters in the tight 675 LT engine bay.
