Free flow exhaust system for the Ferrari 550 and 575 Maranello. It is the version without exhaust valves: the gases run through the silencers with the least possible resistance, and the sound level is fixed rather than switchable.

What it changes

Capristo quotes around 12 PS from the freer flow of the system. The front-engined V12 gains presence across the range, and the double-skinned construction is lighter than the OEM silencers while holding less heat in the exhaust.

Material and build

Heat-resistant 1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, welded by hand in a TIG process and polished to a high gloss in Sundern, Germany, with a final quality check on every system.

Before you order

• This is the version without valves; the system with two exhaust valves and an optional remote is a separate position;
• The system is supplied without German type approval, so check the rules in your market;
• X-pipe centre sections are listed separately for the 550 and for the 575 and work with this system;
• Installation uses the original mounting points.
