Exhaust system for the Ferrari 458 Italia. The naturally aspirated 4.5 V8 revs to 9000 rpm and the factory system is what stands between that and the driver; this position replaces the rear part of it as a whole.

What it changes

With the flaps closed the 458 keeps the composure it needs on the road; open, the V8 is heard without the layered damping the factory builds in, and on an engine with this rev range the difference grows with every thousand rpm.

Material and build

T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, hand TIG welded and polished to a mirror finish in Sundern, Germany, with Capristo's own valves and the patented reinforced construction against resonance.

Before you order

• The Spider has its own part number, so order by body type as well as model;
• Sport cats and headers for the 458 are separate positions and carry further gains;
• Check how your car controls the flaps before choosing the configuration;
• Installation uses the original mounting points, with no modification to the car.
