FreeFlow exhaust system for the Ferrari 348 tb, ts and Spider. The valve section of the standard Capristo design is left out here, which makes the system a full free-flow layout and gives the 3.4 V8 the Formula 1 note the car is known for in this configuration.

Three sound levels

  • Sound 1: around 10 dBA louder than standard;
  • Sound 2: around 18 dBA louder;
  • Sound 3: the F1 character and the most popular of the three.

What it changes

Lighter than the original system and better at dissipating heat, which on a mid-engined car with the exhaust behind the cabin is worth as much as the sound. Owners report better throttle response and more torque from the freer flow.

Material and build

T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, hand TIG welded and polished in Sundern, Germany. Capristo supplies its own mounting brackets, and the system installs into the existing mounting points.

Before you order

  • A version with exhaust valves and a control unit is also built for the 348; confirm its part number with Capristo;
  • Supplied without German TÜV approval;
  • Cat spare pipes for the 348 are a separate position.
