Exhaust system for the Dodge RAM with the HEMI V8. Capristo builds for the pick-up the same way it builds for sports cars: hand-made stainless steel, flap control and a system that bolts into the factory position.

What it changes

The HEMI has the displacement to sound like a classic American V8, and the factory exhaust holds most of it back. The Capristo system opens up the rear part while keeping a closed setting, which on a vehicle that is also used for towing and long motorway runs is not a detail to skip.

Material and build

Heat-resistant 1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, welded entirely by hand in a TIG process and polished to a high gloss in Sundern, Germany, with a final quality check on every system.

Before you order

• Confirm the body and wheelbase of your RAM when ordering, since the routing differs between versions;
• Check how the car controls the flaps, as that decides whether a controller is needed;
• Emissions equipment ahead of the system is not touched;
• Installation uses the OEM mounting points.
