Valved exhaust system for the Cupra Ateca from 12/2018. The system runs from the OEM separation point back, so the factory downpipe and filter stay in place and the work is limited to the rear of the car.

Two versions, one difference

• With carbon tailpipes (02CU11803001);
• With polished oval tailpipes (02CU11803005).

Everything ahead of the tips is identical, so the choice is purely about how the rear of the car should look.

How the carbon tips are built

Three layers: a stainless steel inner tube that takes the heat, a colour anodized aluminium tube in black, silver or red, and a carbon outer tube. The anodized layer shows through as a contrasting ring inside the carbon shell.

Material and build

Heat-resistant 1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, welded entirely by hand in a TIG process, polished to a high gloss and checked at the end of production in Sundern, Germany.

Before you order

• Capristo lists the system for racing purposes only, so check the rules in your market before road use;
• The flaps give two sound levels: closed for everyday driving, open under load;
• Pick the tailpipe version at order, the tips are not interchangeable afterwards.
