Valved exhaust system for the third generation Bentley Continental GT V8 from 2018. The car uses the 4.0 TFSI EA825 V8, and the factory system is built around keeping it quiet, which is exactly what this section changes.

How it behaves

Closed, the flaps leave the car as composed as standard, which matters on a grand tourer used for long distances; open, the V8 is heard with the overrun character the turbo engine has but the factory exhaust suppresses.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, hand polished to a mirror finish in Sundern, Germany, engineered with 3D laser scanning, CAD and CNC bending so the section fits the OEM mounting points.

Before you order

• The third generation car has its own part number: parts for the 2011-2018 Continental do not fit;
• Confirm which valve control your car uses before choosing the configuration;
• Capristo supplies ECE approved versions for part of the Bentley range, so ask about approval if the car is used on the road;
• Bolt-on installation, no modification to the body or hangers.
