Centre section for the Nissan GT-R R35 of the MK3, MK4 and Nismo generations. It replaces the middle part of the factory exhaust, between the downpipes and the rear silencer, and is offered with or without catalysts.

Three versions

• With 100 cell sport cats (02NI09503016);
• With 250 cell sport cats (02NI09503017);
• Catless, with post-cat pipes (02NI09503018).

The cell count decides how close the car stays to standard. The catless version is the most direct and is intended for track use.

What it changes

The middle section carries the secondary damping of the GT-R exhaust. Replacing it lets the sound built up by the downpipes actually reach the rear, and it drops back pressure in the part of the system that sits under the cabin.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, hand TIG welded and polished in Sundern, Germany, built for the OEM mounting points.

Before you order

• Combine with the Capristo downpipes and valved rear silencer for the full effect;
• Removing catalysts can set a check engine light;
• There is no valve in this section, so the change in level is permanent.
