Centre silencer replacement for the Bentley Continental GT V8 and V8 S. The section takes the place of the factory middle silencer, between the catalysts and the rear part of the system.

Why this section matters

On the Continental the middle silencer does much of the damping, so a rear section alone changes less than owners expect. Replacing it is what lets the 4.0 twin-turbo V8 be heard through the whole rev range rather than only at full throttle, and it drops back pressure in the middle of the system.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, built to the dimensions of the original part and hand finished in Sundern, Germany, so installation uses the factory mounting points.

Before you order

• The part is designed to work with the Capristo valved rear section; with the standard rear silencer the change is smaller;
• There is no valve in this section, so the sound level rises permanently;
• Catalysts are not touched, so emissions equipment and diagnostics stay as they are;
• The W12 cars use their own middle section.
