Exhaust manifolds for the Ferrari 458 Italia. The manifold set, left and right, replaces the factory headers of the 4.5 V8 and comes with heat blankets. Capristo builds it on the 4-2-1 principle with pipe routing that differs noticeably from standard, which improves scavenging between cylinders.

What it changes

Freeing the header section is the most effective single change on the naturally aspirated 458: it works on flow where the standard system is tightest, and the car answers with a cleaner pull towards the 9000 rpm limiter and a harder top end.

Material and build

Made entirely from 1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, polished, with hand-sewn heat blankets included. The set weighs around 14 kg. It mounts to the original fixing points, so replacing the factory manifolds is a straight swap.
