Exhaust manifolds for the Ferrari 430 Scuderia, supplied with heat shields. The set replaces the factory headers of the 4.3 V8 and is built specifically for the Scuderia and the 16M, which is why it carries its own part number rather than the F430 one.

Design

The 4-2-1 layout with Capristo's own pipe routing targets mid-range torque: the Scuderia is geared and mapped to live at high revs, and freeing the pre-cat section is the one change that is felt everywhere below the limiter as well.

Material and heat management

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, manually TIG welded and hand polished to a mirror finish in Sundern, Germany. Heat shields are supplied with the set and are required: on a mid-engined car the headers sit directly under the engine cover.

Before you order

• The factory pre-catalysts are inside the stock manifolds, so fitting these headers removes them and a check engine light may appear;
• Combines with the OEM catalysts or with the Capristo sport cat and mid pipe sections;
• Installs onto the OEM mounting points;
• Observe the header stud torque limit of 24 Nm to avoid stud or cylinder head damage.
