Carbon engine cover for the Audi RS4 B9 and the RS5 F5 with the 2.9 TFSI biturbo V6. It replaces the moulded plastic cover over the engine, which is the part you see every time the bonnet is open.

Material and build

Full carbon fibre in the K-weave Audi uses on its own carbon parts, so the pattern matches factory trim. The layers are laid up in a custom mould, impregnated with resin and cured in an autoclave at the Capristo works in Sundern, Germany. Mounting hardware is included.

What it changes

The cover fits both the pre-facelift and the facelift cars, unlike the exterior aero parts of this family. Carbon in the engine bay is the detail that ties the car together for anyone who opens the bonnet at a meeting or a show.

Before you order

• Choose gloss or matt to match the other carbon parts on the car;
• Lacquer is UV stable, but carbon still ages faster in constant sun than paint;
• Installation uses the original fixing points, nothing is cut;
• The standard part can be refitted at any time.
