Set of carbon engine cover and lock cover for the Audi RS5 F5 with the 2.9 TFSI EA839 biturbo V6. The two parts cover everything visible when the bonnet is open, which is why Capristo offers them together rather than only separately.

Two finishes

• Gloss lacquered (03AU00510006 KG);
• Matt lacquered (03AU00510006 KM).

Both parts in the set carry the same finish, so the engine bay reads as one piece.

Material and build

Full carbon fibre in Type K weave, the same weave Audi uses on its factory carbon, so the pattern lines up with the original parts. Layers are laid in a mould, impregnated with resin and cured in an autoclave at Capristo in Sundern, Germany. Mounting hardware is included.

Carbon weighs less than the moulded plastic it replaces, though on two covers the saving is measured in grams rather than kilos.

Before you order

• Both parts are also available individually;
• The set is cosmetic, it does not change engine output;
• Installation uses the original fixing points, nothing is cut;
• The standard covers can be refitted at any time.
