250 cell sport cat downpipes for the Ferrari Portofino. The set replaces the factory catalyst section directly behind the turbochargers of the 3.9 twin-turbo V8 - on a turbo car this is where most of the sound is lost and where the exhaust is most restrictive.

What you get

Downpipes with 250 cell metal catalyst cores and heat blankets. The insulation keeps temperature inside the pipe, which protects the surrounding components and maintains gas speed where the turbos need it.

Why sport cats on a turbo V8

Turbochargers damp the exhaust note heavily, so a rear silencer alone changes less on the Portofino than on an atmospheric car. Opening up the catalyst section is the step that actually changes the character: more volume, a harder edge and a quicker response off boost.
