Catted downpipes for the Aston Martin Vantage V12 from 2022. The pipes replace the factory catalyst section right behind the turbochargers of the 5.2 twin-turbo V12, where the standard exhaust restricts flow most.

Two versions

• 250 cell sport cats (02AM05003013) - closer to standard behaviour;
• 100 cell sport cats (02AM05003019) - freer flowing, louder and harder.

Both keep a catalyst in the system, unlike straight race pipes.

Heat management

The downpipes come with heat blankets. On a twin-turbo V12 the catalyst section sits in the hottest part of the engine bay, so keeping that heat inside the pipe protects the surrounding components and maintains gas speed.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, hand polished to a mirror finish and built for the OEM mounting points in Sundern, Germany.

Before you order

• Fitting catted downpipes can still trigger a check engine light, so plan for ECU work if the car is used on the road;
• Capristo part numbers overlap between the V8 and V12 Vantage ranges - confirm the engine when ordering;
• Combines with the Capristo valved rear silencer for the V12 Vantage.
