Downpipes for the McLaren 675 LT. The pipes replace the factory catalyst section directly behind the turbochargers of the 3.8 twin-turbo V8, which is where the standard system restricts flow most.

What it changes

• The largest single drop in back pressure available on this car, because the converters sit at the hottest and tightest point;
• A harder, more direct V8 note that is present from idle rather than only under load;
• Less weight than the OEM catalyst section.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, hand welded and polished in Sundern, Germany, with heat protection for the engine bay of a mid-engined car.

Before you order

• Catless pipes are intended for track use and road use without converters is restricted in most markets;
• A check engine light should be expected; only an ECU modification switches it off;
• The downpipes also come as part of the complete 675 LT system, so check what you already have before ordering separately;
• Bolt-on fit to the OEM flanges and mounting points.
