Cat bypass downpipes for the Ferrari F12 berlinetta. The pipes replace the factory catalysts immediately behind the manifolds of the 6.3 V12. This is the hottest and most restrictive part of the standard system, and the part that changes the character of the car most.

Material and build

1.4828 (AISI T309) stainless steel, mandrel-bent and manually TIG welded in Sundern, Germany. Heat blankets are supplied with the downpipes: the insulation keeps temperature inside the pipe, protects the engine bay and maintains gas speed where it matters.

What it changes

• The largest single drop in back pressure available on this car;
• A harder V12 note across the range, audible even with the rear flaps closed;
• Weight saving over the OEM catalyst section.

Before you order

• Catless pipes are intended for track use; running without catalysts on public roads is restricted in most markets;
• Expect an OBD fault after the cats are removed - plan for a cat simulator such as the Capristo OBD Wizard;
• Sport cat versions with 100 or 250 cell metal cores are available if you want to keep a catalyst;
• Bolt-on fit to the OEM flanges and mounting points.
