Cat delete downpipes for the Audi RS6 C8, the RS7 Sportback and the S8 D5 with the 4.0 TFSI EA825 biturbo V8. The pipes replace the standard catalysts in the first section after the turbochargers, and all three cars share this part.

How it differs from the catted version

Capristo offers the same downpipe section with 250 cell sport cats as well. The cat delete version removes the catalyst entirely, so it flows more and sounds harder, and it is strictly a track part.

What changes

Downpipes are where gas is hottest and back pressure matters most. Taking the catalyst out lets the turbos unload faster, so spool and throttle response change before anything is even heard.

Material and build

T309 (1.4828) stainless steel, rated above 600 C, hand TIG welded and polished to a mirror finish in Sundern, Germany.

Before you order

• The part fits cars with the factory OPF/GPF only;
• Tuning is required to keep the check engine light off;
• Capristo supplies it for off-road and track use;
• It works with the standard mid pipes or the Capristo ones;
• Installation uses the original flanges and is reversible.
