Carbon parts for the Ferrari 458 Spider, including the carbon engine bonnet with vents and safety glass - the part that changes the car most, since on the Spider the engine sits under a hard cover rather than a glass lid.

Engine bonnet and its options

• Engine bonnet with vents and safety glass (03FE00410006L);
• Prepared for painting outside (03FE004100061L);
• Prepared for painting outside and inside (03FE004100062L);
• Painted outside with gloss carbon inside (03FE004100063L);
• Alternative pane for cars with a GPS antenna in the glass (03FE00410017).

The painting options exist because many owners want body colour outside and visible weave inside; the GPS pane is needed when the antenna sits in the original window.

Other carbon positions

Air box cover, mirror case set, engine bay side covers left and right, lock cover, front wings set and tank cap, each in gloss (LG) or matt (LM).

How the carbon is made

Hand-laid prepreg in Capristo moulds, cured in an autoclave or press, then lacquered. The weave matches the fabric used by the car manufacturer.

Mounting hardware is included with every position.

Capristo Automotive GmbH has built carbon parts and exhaust systems for Ferrari since 1990.
